BACKGROUND
Bringing ship and shore closer, Dualog offers innovative software solutions with the purpose of bringing ship and shore closer worldwide.
OPPORTUNITY
The amount of data exchanged between ships and shore is increasing every day, including business-critical files and documents. Under ideal circumstances, this data transfer would go smoothly with reliable high-capacity connectivity between vessels at sea and operations on land.
SOLUTION
Design an interface for Dualog's services enabling connectivity, usability, efficiency and reliability online and offline.
MY ROLE
UX/UI DESIGN
Me and my UX designer colleague at Bekk performed user studies, business research and observations with the product owners at Dualog. Following the user-centered design process for universal usability, we designed and delivered hifi wireframes for the new software services and apps that were directly implemented by Dualog.
RESULT
A better and more modern maritime software solutions for communication on ships enabling file transfer, protection, emails, administration etc at all times.
